MURDER MOST FOUL: Homicide investigation in Brampton

Region of Peel – Investigators from the Homicide and Missing Person Bureau have taken over the investigation into a shooting incident, that led to the death of a 22-year-old man in the City of Brampton.  

On Thursday, February 25, 2021, at approximately 2:15 a.m., emergency services responded to the area of Delphinium Way and Iceland Poppy Trail in the City of Brampton in regards to a report of shots being fired. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of gunfire and commenced a search of the area, where they located a man suffering from a gunshot injury.

The man was transported to a trauma centre in life-threatening condition, and passed away on March 3, 2021 as a result of the injuries he sustained. The man has been identified as Elijah Charles-Gregory from the City of Brampton.
