Grains mixed, livestock lower News Staff

CHICAGO — Grain futures were mixed on Wednesday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for May was up 5.25 cent at $6.4625 a bushel; May corn rose .75 cent at $5.5350 a bushel; May oats gained 1.25 cents at $3.7225 cents a bushel; while May soybeans fell 10.5 cents at $14.1250 a bushel.

Beef and pork lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

Apr. live cattle was off .22 cent at $1.1870 a pound; Mar. feeder cattle lost .42 cent at $1.3650 a pound; April lean hogs dropped .05 cent at .9290 a pound.
