Former professional hockey player and Trudeau critic Theo Fleury will talking to Laura Ingraham on Fox News Tuesday evening to discuss the ongoing truckers’ protest in Canada. 1000s of angry truckers are currently en route to the capital of the country, and are planning on wreaking havoc on the city, with plans to shut down roads and block access to Parliament. A fundraiser for the protest is well over $4 million.
After the prime minister of Canada enacted tough new restrictions on unvaccinated truck drivers, many are out of work and angry at the federal government, on both sides of the border. In response, truckers in Canada are moving in large numbers to the nation’s capital in order to “take back Canada.” Theo Fleury, a famous former hockey player and motivational speaker, has shown support publicly for the truckers’ convoy. Early Tuesday morning he announced he has been invited on Fox News to discuss the situation with Laura Ingraham.
While Covid vaccines have been deemed safe and effective by health authorities in Canada, and across the world, many truckers in Canada and the U.S. have chosen not to get one. As a result of the mandates, the struggling global supply chain is being squeezed even harder, and many grocery stores in Canada are worried about running out of food, if they haven’t already. While claims of empty stores shelves have been brushed aside by Trudeau as “fear-mongering,” many verified pictures of empty shelves have been circulated through social media and the issue has been covered extensively by various news outlets.
We support our Truckers. This support is not about cover . It is about the government wanting control and taken away our freedom.
