Dean Blundell, ‘snitch’ blogger that doxed GiveSendGo donors was previously reprimanded for making sexual comments about children – CBSC

The infamous shock jock got himself in big trouble with the CBSC for sexualizing children when he was a radio host. Dean Blundell, former radio host, responsible for spreading hacked material that doxed GiveSendGo donors, was previously reprimanded by the Canadian Broadcast Standards CouncilĀ (CBSC) for making sexual comments about children and “joking” about incest. The incident in question occurred in 2009, and Dean was publicly reprimanded in 2010. Notably, Dean was allowed to keep his job, despite the CBSC declaring that Blundell “inappropriately sexualized children.” Dean Blundell came back into the public spotlight on Feb. 13 after he announced he was in possession of hacked material that contained the personal information of GiveSendGo donors. For this, he was labeled a “snitch journalist” and likened to the “Stasi” by Ian Miles Cheong of the Post Millennial. However, this is not the first time Blundell has faced public backlash for bad behaviour.
