KFC removes pork and converts to halal

The famous chicken franchise is the latest corporation to cater to the woke.

As of May 15, 2024, KFC chains across Ontario, Canada have removed pork from their menus and made all of their chicken halal, according to a corporate memo.

The shift was made in all of the stores in Ontario, except for Thunder Bay and Ottawa.

Currently, all chicken products sold by KFC are now “Halal certified,” including their chicken on the bone, chicken tenders, popcorn chicken, and sandwiches.

Restaurant staff have been trained in “Halal operational procedures,” and the distribution is in coordination with KFC’s “Muslim team.”

KFC’s decision to offer Halal products has been noted on its website on its frequently asked questions (FAQ) page.

Conservatives and Sikhs across Canada have slammed the decision, with many people vowing never to eat at KFC again.

This has nothing to do with religion. Halal slaughter is inhumane, and I will never support animal cruelty,” wrote one concerned Canadian on X (Twitter) in response to the Halal shift.

First it was Halal mortgages and now they are demanding we convert our restaurants to Halal. This is not assimilation, it’s domination,” wrote political commentator The Pleb on X.

KFC Canada and Non-Halal Advocacy Canada were reached for comment, but did not provide an immediate response.
