Justin Trudeau is not the only Canadian politician that has faced angry mobs of protesters at public events.
Jagmeet Singh was chased away from a meet and greet on Thursday in Brampton by a group of angry protesters opposed to vaccine mandates. The group raised objections with Singh’s connection to the Liberal Party.
Singh was in Brampton with Ontario NDP candidate Navjit Kaur. However, due to the presence of protesters, Singh ended up vacating the area. Protesters were heard calling Singh a “pussy.”
Notably, the incident was not reported by any mainstream media outlets. While the incident happened on Thursday, videos of the event only began circulating on Twitter on Saturday. A TikTok commentator explained the event in detail in a video posted on Friday.
