#TrudeauHaircut dominates Twitter on Saturday

OPINION / ANALYSIS

Canadians from coast to coast are poking fun at the Canadian prime minister’s new haircut.

Justin Trudeau was seen sporting a new haircut, and the internet is doing what it does best – trading hot takes on how awful it is.

Trudeau’s new look has been described as “creepy” by critics, many wondering where he got it cut and how it turned out so bad.

One critic shared a picture of Trudeau on Twitter with the caption, “Trudeau is getting creepier by the minute.”

Others pointed out the similarities between Trudeau and Jim Carrey’s character in the famous movie Dumb and Dumber.

The movie, released in 1994, has been described as a “relentlessly stupid comedy” by Rotten Tomatoes. The movie inspired many memes over the near 30 years since its release.

Conservative blog The National Telegraph couldn’t resist joining in on the fun.

Global News journalist Rachel Gilmore, previously accused of writing propaganda for the Trudeau regime, also couldn’t resist taking shots at the sitting prime minister.

On Friday night, Gilmore stated on Twitter that if she got a haircut that bad she would have “asked for a refund.”

Naturally, Trudeau’s supporters were quick to defend the prime minister.

Actor Simon King told his Twitter followers that he believes former prime minister Stephen Harper’s haircut was worse, and looks like it was cut at Sears in 1981.
