1984 used to be a work of fiction. Thanks to the Liberal government, it’s becoming a reality.
Known liar and Liberal MP Marco Mendicino is meeting with mainstream media journalists, working on a plan to censor Conservative voices on the internet and to protect Trudeau’s propaganda pushers from criticism.
Mendicino, known for lying about the rationale for the Emergencies Act, stated on Twitter Wednesday that online “hate” and “harassment” has intensified recently.
The Liberal MP then stated he plans to “engage” with law enforcement to see if it can take further action. “In other words, censorship on free speech,” one person added.
Mainstream media “journalists” such as Rachel Gilmore have come under fire for their inaccurate reporting on Conservatives.
Gilmore wrote a hit-piece on Pierre Poilievre, falsely claiming he had “links” to far-right extremists. That report was thoroughly debunked by Toronto 99.
Poilievre pushed back on Gilmore’s inaccurate hit-piece, decrying “fake news” from Trudeau’s propaganda pushers.
The mainstream media in Canada has faced accusations of bias, partially due to generous bail-outs from the Liberal government.
Pierre Poilievre has vowed to push back against attempts to censor the internet, stating that once he becomes prime minister he will pass the Free Speech Act.
