After Wednesday’s terrorism scare, Canadians have had enough of sitting idly as the threat of a potential attack grows.
Toronto 99 has launched a petition directed at the Trudeau government, demanding that all terrorists and terrorist sympathizers that are non-citizens be deported immediately.
Wednesday saw Canada’s first terrorism scare in recent times as a car exploded at the Canada-US border in Niagara Falls. While the incident was not connected to terrorism, major Canadian cities remain on high alert.
This comes as the British government warns of a possible terrorist attack in Canada, saying it is “very likely.” Tensions are high as anti-Semitic and anti-Israel protesters flood the streets of Canada, prompting some departments to threaten to use of tear gas.
Canada, compared to other western countries, has taken a weak stance on terrorism. The Trudeau government has yet to launch significant crackdowns on terrorists and their sympathizers.
This petition demands the Trudeau government change course, and get tough on those that do not uphold Canadians values.
