Premier Smith to launch Alberta police force

Human traffickers and Antifa thugs have been put on notice.

As part of her plan to keep Albertans safe, premier Danielle Smith and the United Conservative Party (UCP) have introduced legislation to launch an Alberta-wide police force.

Public Safety Minister Mike Ellis announced Wednesday that the UCP plans on remodeling the sheriff service into a police force, as was reported by the Canadian Press.

When somebody calls 911… I expect somebody to show up to that call. And sadly, in certain areas, that has been a bit of a challenge,” Ellis told the media on Wednesday.

The announcement comes a little under a year after premier Smith promised to track down the arsonists responsible for setting the province ablaze in 2023.

While a lot of the wildfires can be indirectly traced back to climate change, several people were arrested last year for intentionally starting fires in the province.

The RCMP has frequently faced criticism for being biased towards the federal government in Ottawa, and incapable of keeping Albertans safe from criminals.

Sorry you lost me at “while a lot of the wildfires can be indirectly traced back to climate change”. You think just because you write drivel that it means it’s truth. Mice try
