A Toronto Sun columnist shared a fake Pierre Poilievre tweet on Saturday night.
Warren Kinsella, a vocal critic of prime minister hopeful Pierre Poilievre, shared a fake tweet featuring the CPC leader and a picture of Hitler.
Users were quick to point out the tweet was fake, citing the odd sun-glasses emoji next to Poilievre’s name.
In response, Kinsella deleted the tweet. It was removed from Twitter before it could be archived.
A copy of the tweet was saved by Toronto 99 before it was removed from Twitter.
While Kinsella frequently criticizes prime minister Justin Trudeau in his articles for the Toronto Sun, he directs a lot of criticism towards Pierre Poilievre.
