An anti-lockdown advocate is calling out Trudeau’s Liberals for smearing him as an “alt-right misogynist.”
Roman Baber, a Conservative politician and staunch anti-lockdown advocate, is pushing back against disinformation from the Liberal Party.
After Roman Baber announced that he plans on running in the Toronto riding of York-Centre in the next federal election, Trudeau’s henchmen Mark Gerretsen and Taleeb Noormohamed were quick to slander him.
Gerretsen referred to Baber as “alt-right,” and Noorohamed referred to him as an “anti science, misogynist” rage-farmer.
Baber pushed back, reminding Trudeau’s soldiers that he has Jewish background, and his family suffered in the Holocaust.
“Anti-Semitism thrives in the woke Liberal Party,” wrote Baber in response to the fake news attacks.
Gerretsen has a troubled history with the truth, previously retracting disinformation he spread about an imaginary convoy in 2022.
Baber was kicked out of Doug Ford’s provincial Conservative Party in 2021 for openly criticizing lockdown measures.
He unsuccessfully ran for the leader of the federal Conservative Party, losing out to Pierre Poilievre.
In addition to advocating against lockdowns, Baber is a staunch critic of Trudeau’s broadcaster, the CBC. He has openly compared the “news” outlet to Soviet propaganda.
