Millions of residents in Canada’s largest city may be without transportation tomorrow.
The union representing Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) workers is threatening to shut down transit service in the city.
After the union and the TTC failed to reach a deal, subway and bus service may come to a complete halt tomorrow morning, leaving many of the city’s residents stranded.
When asked about potential service disruptions, union president Marvin Alfred told local media, “it’s a problem for them, it’s not a problem for us.”
Toronto mayor and suspected Chinese asset Olivia Chow offered little solutions to the problem except to state she has “faith” both sides will reach a deal.
The left-wing mayor was spotted riding her bike to city hall in an effort to promote “Bike to Work Week.”
Chow has faced criticism for allowing crime to run rampant on the city’s transit system as well as failing to quell the pro-Hamas demonstrations that have crippled busy intersections in the city.
