Majority of Canadians believe Trudeau’s immigration policies were a failure

As Trudeau enters his final days in power, Canadians reflect on his legacy.

Justin Trudeau is on the path to step down as leader of the Liberal Party, and as prime minister of Canada. This move has been celebrated by the Canadian right, and even some on the left.

A majority of Canadians believe that marijuana legalization was his most successful policy, while immigration was his least successful policy.

52% of Canadians approved of marijuana legalization, while only 10% of Canadians approved of Trudeau’s policies on immigration, according to a recent report by Angus Reid.

The Liberal Party is currently in the middle of a leadership race, with Trudeau’s advisor Mark Carney the most likely to win the nomination.
