A third person in New Zealand has died after taking the Covid-19 vaccine, as announced by the Ministry of Health.

The Covid-19 vaccine is suspected to have taken yet another life in the small island country of New Zealand. According to a press release from the New Zealand Government – Ministry of Health, a vaccinated person suffered myocarditis and his death is linked to the Pfizer vaccine.

“This is a tragic circumstance, and the Board expresses their sympathy to the individual’s [family] and friends.”

In late 2021, a 26-year-old man died shortly after taking the Pfizer vaccine. He also suffered from myocarditis. Before that, a 13-year-old boy died after taking his vaccine. It is important to note that the coroner is still investigating the cause of deaths in all of these cases.

Despite the possible side-effects, health authorities across the world continue to recommend getting vaccinated.

At the time of writing, over 11 billion doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been administered worldwide. The country with the highest vaccination rate is the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the lowest being Burundi.
